Identification at the Polls

You must have your ID and a verification of your Ann Arbor residency if you registered by mail (or with Voice Your Vote) and did not write down your driver's licence number or social security number on the registration form! However, even if you did complete your registration form

We encourage everyone to take ID and residency verification, better to play it safe!

If the address on your photo ID does not match the address at which you are registered to vote, you can bring one of the following to verify that address as well:

Paycheck Stub
Utility Bill
Bank Statement
Any government document

What if I moved since I registered to vote?

According to Michigan law, you must reregister to vote if you have moved more than 60 days before the Election. If you forgot to reregister, YOU MUST VOTE IN THE PRECINCT IN WHICH YOU ARE REGISTERED TO VOTE! Not sure where that is? Check it out HERE!
