The bulk of MSA\'s projects are planned and executed by MSA\'s commissions, committees, and task forces. Any student may be a member of an MSA commission, committee, or task force. They meet at least once a week. To get involved, just go to a meeting or contact the chair to find out how you can help.

The Minority Affairs Commission is charged with the goal of striving for improvement of student life for all African American, Asian and Pacific American, Latino, Latina, Latin American, Arab American and Native American students and strives to educate the university community on minority affairs. In the past, it has planned events such as The State of Black America, co-sponsored an event for Black Welcome Week, had an event for the Hispanic Heritage Month, co-sponsored a Bollywood Movie Night, etc.
We welcome everyone to come to our meetings on Wednesday nights at 7pm if you have any issues on campus that you would like us to address. They are held at the Michigan Student Assembly Chambers, Conference Room B third floor of the Michigan Union.
