When does airBus operate?
During Fall and Winter terms, we offer service immediately before and after breaks. At this time, we do not operate at the beginning or end of the year. Current Schedules are available on this website.
Do I need a reservation to ride airBus?
No, but we strongly recommend making one. Reserve a seat for your Eastbound trip by purchasing a ticket at Michigan Union Ticket Office (MUTO). Purchasing a ticket in advance guarantees you space and entitles you to the lowest fares.
We do set aside limited space on each Eastbound trip for unreserved customers; these seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
All Westbound trips operate on an unreserved basis (Why?).

I don't have Entrée Plus. Can I still ride airBus with my Mcard?
Yes. airBus does not debit fares from Entrée Plus accounts. Rides on airBus appear on your regular university statement along with tuition, lab fees, book fines, etc. You can view all items on your statement through Wolverine Access.
Can non-students ride airBus?
We welcome non-students to ride as guests of registered students. We require a valid student Mcard to purchase tickets. You can purchase up to three tickets at once for you and your guests. When riding with your Mcard (Eastbound unreserved or Westbound), you can charge up to three rides to your account. Remember that each ride charged will appear on your statement.
Why can't I buy a ticket for my Westbound trip?
Due to unpredictable flight arrival times, your plane-to-bus connection might not work out as you plan. We don't want to sell you a ticket for a bus ride you might not take.
Does airBus run on-time?
Since our first trip in November 2002, over 98 percent of trips have operated on-time or ahead-of-schedule. However, unforeseen weather or traffic conditions can cause delays. Be sure to leave yourself enough time for check-in and security procedures. And avoid missing your bus by arriving at the stop at least five minutes early!
How will I recognize airBus?
All airBus trips operate with premium over-the-road charter coaches. Blue-and-yellow U-M campus buses sometimes appear at Metro Airport for sports teams or other events; please note that these buses are not in airBus service.
Does airBus serve the Berry Terminal?
airBus does not serve the Berry Terminal directly. To access Berry for your flight out, ride airBus to McNamara (the second stop). Then, walk a few feet to the Westin Hotel entrance to board a free terminal-to-terminal shuttle. On the
way back, board the terminal-to-terminal shuttle at Berry and ride to the airBus stop at LC Smith. Terminal-to-terminal shuttles run every 5 to 10 minutes. Be sure to allow an extra 15 minutes if you're flying from Berry.

Can I ride reverse - to Ann Arbor before break or to Metro Airport after?
